Man, 91, freed from under lorry

Police are trying to trace the family of an elderly man who was seriously injured when he was trapped under a lorry in a shopping centre car park.

Cyril Bottomley, 91, from the Halifax area, had to be freed from under a 7.5 tonne lorry at a shopping centre in Poulton le Fylde, Lancashire.

Mr Bottomley is being treated at the Blackpool Victoria Hospital.

Lancashire Police have issued an urgent appeal for anyone related to Mr Bottomley to contact them.
